Wednesday, July 2 Evening Reception | 5–7 p.m. (?)

Location: Hotel lobby

For those arriving early, Homewood Suites offers an evening reception on Wednesday nights - beer, wine, and snacks served.

Thursday, July 3 Welcome Happy Hour(s) | 3–6 p.m.

Location: Hotel conference room.

Drop in for drinks and snacks, hang out for a bit, and head out when you're ready for dinner on your own. (snacks and beverages will be provided, but please feel free to contribute as you like).

Friday, July 4

Independence Day Gathering | 3–6 p.m.

Location: Hotel conference room.

Late lunch or early dinner, just like we did at Brookdale in Bonita Springs! Main will be provided, please bring a side to share! If grocery shopping isn’t on your to do list while on vacation, please let me know so we can make arrangements for us to bring something for you.

Fireworks Over Matanzas | 6:00 - 10:00 p.m.

Location: Downtown St. Augustine.

Lighting up the sky over Matanzas Bay, with the Castillo de San Marcos and the Bridge of Lions in the foreground, the "Fireworks Over the Matanzas" display is truly unforgettable. The 20-minute fireworks show is set to patriotic music on an extensive sound system that carries over the entire bayfront.

Visitors are welcome to line the streets and sit anywhere along the Bridge of Lions and South Castillo Drive to view the fireworks from downtown.

Our hotel is inland on the river, so we may not get the best view.

Saturday, July 5

St. Augustine Trolley Tour | Runs 9 a..m. - 4:30 p.m.

Friday, July 4 - Saturday, July 5

2 day Old Town Trolley Tour pass with hop-on and hop-off privileges is $68.59 (adult), $37.42 (children ages 4 - 12), FREE (kids 3 and under) - this option covers getting around town on the 4th and doing the tour on the 5th.

Each trolley carries 76 people, so it’s possible to have everyone accommodated on one trolley,.

Single day passes are also available. St. Augustine is a very walkable city!
